Sleeping bag for Mongolia
Question: I will be going to Mongolia in july and plan to do some camping. Will i need to get a sleeping bag, and if i do, what kind of sleeping bag. What should I expect the night temperature to be, both in the mountains and else where? I’ve been looking at climate charts but the wind must play a big part as well?
Answer: Hi. I will definitely suggest you bringing your own sleeping bag. Altho’ most tours will provide you with sleeping bags, but from my past experiences, they are not of good enough quality! With temperature dropping down to 10 deg at night, you will want something to keep you comfortable at night! It do get really cold even when sleeping in a ger!
A 3 or 4 seasons down sleeping bag is thus my recommendation!
